Dr. Melissa Miller, PhD

Hi! I’m Dr. Miller, a licensed clinical psychologist at the Halcyon Therapy Group. I am based in Texas, although I am also PSYPACT authorized to work with clients located in 32 states (and counting!) via telehealth.

I specialize in helping individuals who are struggling with anxiety, stress, trauma, and/or sleep get back to living life as they once knew it. I have particular interests in women’s mental health, working to support and empower women across the life span to intentionally create lives that align with their values and thereby provide them with joy, satisfaction, and a sense of personal fulfillment. I operate from an evidence-based perspective, using a variety of therapeutic approaches and strategies proven to work.

For over a dozen years, I have worked in academic medical centers, private practice, and telehealth settings. I have had the privilege of providing multitudes of individuals with a safe space in which to feel heard and understood and bolstering them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to carve out meaningful lives. My approach is warm and empathic, yet also goal-oriented, in order to get individuals feeling better and on their way to living the life they want to live.

At Halcyon Therapy Group there is no “one size fits all” approach. We understand the uniqueness of each individual’s struggles as well as the complexity of day to day lives. You can rest assured that you will receive a highly responsive and personalized approach to your care - because that’s what you deserve.
